So I just realized that about 90% of the stuff I put on here is strictly for the internetz only. What I mean is: I don't show this artwork to anyone in real life, save a very few choice individuals.

If you know me in real life, and I gave you my username on here, that means that I trust you with my art, which is pretty darn special for me personally.

...But then again, that doesn't make sense, does it? If I can show my weird art (that is very personal and expressive most of the time) freely to the people of the internet, then why can't I do the same with people I know in person? I guess it's because I'm afraid that they will judge me and, because I know them, I'll have to deal with their new perception of me (which would've been altered to "that girl is weee-eeird.")

Interesting how that works.

Well hello everyone! I'm (mostly) back!

I must apologize for my inactivity here; things have been rough in the real world for me and I was too enveloped with all that has happened recently to A. Want to get on here, and B. Have time to get on here. However, now I have decided to take a more serious look at this site, as well as start working on job-oriented artwork and animations.
This means:

• I am either going to switch or make a new account
• I might leave the site altogether due to the lack of formality and the   abundance of porn, n00bs, and overall douchebaggery from the admins and users.

A friend of mine was kind enough to give me Adobe Creative Suite 3! This means I'll have all the Adobe programs! Sure, they'll be older, but, hey! That's good enough for me! (:

On other news:

I have done my own research (and will continue to do more) and have concluded that 2012 is NOT, in fact, the end of the world.
I must give a big shout-out to Western culture for ultimately distorting the facts and fabricating crazy "phenomena" orbiting the Mayans (and plenty of others). Oh, and thank you, too, to all the psychotic conspiracy theorists out there who are quite convinced that the government and NASA are, heaven forbid, HIDING THE TRUTH from the people.
Not to mention the wonderful MOVIE that was released a few years ago. Brilliant idea. Simply brilliant.
The fact of the matter is that we don't exactly know what the end of the Mayan calendar means. Some speculate that it is a celebration, similar to how we celebrate New Years at the end of our calendar. I suppose it would be good to point out that it is incorrect to dub it "the end" of the calendar... It repeats, much like ours does.
There is no science in the doomsday rubbish. Don't listen to those paranoid conspiracy theorists. December 21, 2012 is a winter solstice, it happens every year, and the "alignment of the planets" will do nothing. In fact, many of the "alignment" fears and other space "dangers" have already happened. Did our world end? No. So PLEASE don't be afraid.
